Bath Golf Club, established in 1880, has one of England’s finest and oldest inland courses. The 18 hole, 6442 yard, par 71 course may not be the length that today’s course designers favour, but in the 1880’s they knew how to create a challenge using the natural contours of a hilltop location. The course is full of variety and is laid out over fine ‘golfing country’. Springy downland turf over shallow soil and limestone ensures rapid draining and the course is usually found to be in superb condition. The greens present a special challenge being relatively small and containing hidden, and some not so hidden, borrows. If you would like any further information regarding the course then please contact us.
