Bath Golf Club is ideally situated just a mile from the centre of the City. If leaving the City on the A36 towards Warminster, North Road rises to the right alongside The Bath Spa Hotel. Climb the hill and after approximately 600 yd the driveway to the golf club is on your left.
Directions to the club
From the A36 Warminster to Bath
Take the left turn beside the Viaduct Hotel at Limpley Stoke. Go to the top of the hill (very steep and twisty). At the top turn right – signposted Bath 2.5 miles. The entrance to Bath University comes up on your right. Follow the main road which bears around to the right. Take the second turning on the right – North Road. Continue along this road (another entrance to Bath University is on your right). After about 100 yards, Bath Golf Club entrance is on the right hand side of the road on a sharp downhill bend and before turning into the driveway please take care that nothing is coming up the hill.
From the A4 west from Bristol and A39
At the junction of A4 and A39 at the Globe roundabout, turn right to Combe Down. Continue on this road until roundabout. Go straight across - B3110 to Frome. At next double roundabout go straight across marked Combe Down. Follow this road for about 3 miles passing Bath University on the right. Follow the main road which bears around to the right. Take the second turning on the right – North Road. Continue along this road (another entrance to Bath University is on your right). After about 100 yards, Bath Golf Club entrance is on the right hand side of the road on a sharp downhill bend and before turning into the driveway please take care that nothing is coming up the hill.
From the Motorway
Leave M4 at Junction 18 and take the A46 to Bath which joins the A4 just outside the city. At first major traffic lights in the city take the left turn following signs for Warminster. Go past the Fire Station and take the left fork, i.e. A36 to Warminster. Follow road round right-hand bend over bridge and immediately after left-hand bend take the right turning signposted Claverton Down/ Bath Golf Club. Go past King Edward’s School and continue for approximately 2/3 mile. The entrance to the Golf Club is on a very sharp left turning on the left hand bend – there is a sign on the opposite side of the road.
By Train
The nearest mainline station is Bath Spa, again little more than a mile away in the City Centre.
Parking
Ample car parking available to guests either side of the clubhouse. Access to the car park via security barrier which requires a daily code for exit.
