Evesham Golf Society 

Nicky, many thanks to you and your team for looking after us so well yesterday. As you know, we came down to play with our old friend, and Evesham member,  and we had been led to believe by this member that we would enjoy our visit. He was absolutely right.

Rosy gave us an excellent welcome and even managed to cope with the eccentricity of our organiser. In fact all of your team were most welcoming and helpful. The day started well with a lovely breakfast!

You have a very agreeable set-up and we thoroughly enjoyed the course which is extremely well designed and was in great condition - especially the greens.

I appreciated the courtesy you gave me as a visiting Captain and I was pleased to top up our beer kitty as a result. I hope we put sufficient funds over the bar to make us welcome again as I hope we will be able to visit again in the future.

Snake Golf Society 

This short letter is on behalf of those members of The Snake Golf Society who played in our outing at Bath Golf Club on today.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed playing on your stunning and very well kept course. We were blessed with a lovely day for playing golf with a stiff breeze and the odd rain shower to keep us on our toes. We all enjoyed a delicious meal in your club house afterwards. Please pass on our thanks to Giny for our welcome and assistance behind the bar and to all who served us. Many thanks also to Russell in the Pro’s Shop and all the green staff who were involved in producing a course in first class condition. Out thanks also to Peter and his team in the kitchen for an excellent meal.

As you may recall we play 4 fixtures a year spreading out from Sherborne up to a 50 mile radius and we last played your course in 2012.

Thank you all so much for giving us a memorable day as our last event of 2017. Our very best wishes for a successful remainder of the season and we very much hope to be allowed to return to your Club in the future,

Samaritans AGM 

Just wanted to thank you and the team very much indeed for so kindly agreeing to Bath & District Samaritans holding their 2017 Annual General Meeting in the club last evening.

 Everyone who attended, including the Mayor of Bath and Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, was most impressed with everything they saw.  Please pass on my sincere thanks to all those involved; it was very much appreciated.

I just wanted to say thank you and that the day went perfectly. The sandwiches were fine, the soup delicious, weather perfect and everyone loved the course, and their visit to the West Country. The girl behind the bar was also very welcoming and helpful.

Unfortunately I did not win, but there is another competition in September, so maybe I can get them back again next year.

I would just like to say what a great day we had at your club yesterday.

Facilities were excellent and food and drink was spot on and your team were very professional however the best part of the day was the course,everyone thought it was in great condition and the greens especially were superb, fast but very true.

Be great to come back in the near future.

SSAFA Golf Day 

From SSAFA, can I say a huge thank you for all the help, co-operation and service that we had on Friday. It appeared to be a hugely successful day which everyone enjoyed and were very complimentary about the course and the food.
